This was tearing him apart. Matt wanted to pull Kat towards him and hug her, tell her everything was going to be okay, promise her his safety and protection...but would she even want that? Hesitantly, Matt offered a hug with open arms.

"Honey, would you like a hug? It's not going to fix anything, but if it makes you feel better, I'm here."

He spoke softly, trying to convey his desire to help comfort her. Poor Rina...she'd had a hell of a day with the revelations from work, Tabby, now this debacle. She was probably confused and hurting, so it wouldn't do to let her see the frustration he held. Half of it wasn't even towards her. He should have been more available to her instead of with Klaus. He knew she'd had a rough day at work...why hadn't he texted her first? Push came to shove, he didn't protect her and she was suffering because of his actions with Tabora. If he wanted to carry it to the full logical extreme, the cat had done this to hurt him...and she'd succeeded with Rina being the collateral.

It was beyond embarrassing now, and Katarina knew it. She still didn't quite feel like herself, and she knew what she did was out of character--but why did she feel so strongly about it? A potion or poison, they had said, right? It was all fuzzy to her at this point and all she wanted to do was curl up in a ball and be by herself. Fortunately (and yet, somehow unfortunately) the dynamic duo wouldn't leave her to her own devices, simply because she couldn't be trusted with herself right now. Hence, the shame.

She gave one, pitiful glance at Klaus through the rearview mirror, and leaned into Matt's arms. It wasn't a silly little game anymore, one bred from some adolescent need to make Klaus jealous. Katarina just wanted to be held. It had been a shitty day at work, a shitty day at the bar, and now she was being held up from doing the one thing she wanted to do: Go Home. As she curled into Matt's embrace, she leaned her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arm over his chest to cling to him for dear life. She needed it, even if this was just temporary, a diversion from consequence she'd have to face for her wrong doing.

Matt's hold provided the stability she needed since the spins were intense as she came crashing down from whatever high the drug or potion that had been done to her, had provided. Katarina kept quiet for the rest of the ride...she just wanted this to be over, and go home to go to sleep.

Alright, if they were just going to sit back there and cuddle even though the doors were unlocked and they were here at HQ, he was just going to leave them and get the ball rolling. Maybe that Orion would be there or maybe he wouldn't, but either way, he needed to get things rolling because he was no different than those two. He didn't want to be stuck out all night all because of stupid Tabora and her love potion or whatever the hell voodoo she did with Kat. He leaned over to press down the passenger lock then opened his door and pushed himself out before locking and shutting his own door. They could remember their own locks, he was sure. He pushed his keys into his front pocket then pulled his fob out of his pocket and waved it past the black sensor box once he was there and walked through as the door slid open. Now to make his way to the office and see if any stragglers were around or if he and Matt and Kat were just going to have to write their own brief reports of the incident, try to contact Orion or one of the lab rats for a blood draw to check out this stuff Kat had been laced with, and scoot.

Were they here? Or, rather, at headquarters? After all, where ever you went, there you were...shit. He wasn't doing well if he was slipping into the irrational. The car was stopped, Klaus had gotten out. That must have been all the signal he was going to get, then. Matt unbuckled his seat belt and planted a kiss on Kat's forehead.

"Alright, hon. Let's get in. Faster we get this taken care of, the faster we go home. Out we go."

And he'd need to pretend to be blind the entire damn time...Even if nobody was in the office, there were security cameras in enough places that he'd need to be Agent Magoo for the duration of the visit. He unfolded his cane and tapped the curb, locating it easily as he offered his embrace to her to bury into for safety.

Go in? Katarina groaned. Where were they anyway? They'd said it during the drive, maybe, but she was seriously out of it. The after-effects of whatever she'd been dosed with were clouding her thoughts, and she didn't want to go anywhere but home. When she brought her glassy eyes up to the window, she noticed they were parked in a familiar spot, one located in the garage of the agency. She sighed. "Go in?" She asked, groggily.

Taking a deep breath, Katarina nodded and exited the vehicle. That was a bloody task in itself. She leaned on her boyfriend, if he let her, and stumbled her way to the elevator. It was an awkward, quiet ride between her and the boys. More specifically, she stayed quiet and if they chatted among themselves, everything was lost on her. She was so focused on the way the drug made her feel, and that was: completely awful. She was out of it, that was a given, and her insides were burning. Mostly because she needed something, or rather someone, who wasn't there. Hell, she was so bloody embarrassed. This whole situation wouldn't have happened if she'd ignored the woman and left, or simply finished her drink and perhaps texted the right person.

And what would Wayne think? She hoped he wouldn't tell Will, since they kept a lot of things from him regarding agency business, but this affected her well-being, and she hated keeping that from her kid brother since he was working so hard to keep her together.

When they reached the offices, she let Klaus or even Matt take the lead, even if he had to move about blinded. Ugh, she hated this. She was supposed to be leading him, not the other way around. The whole facade of being a blind man was to be kept up here, yet she was incapable of that. "Where are we going?" She asked, slightly slurred, in the direction of Klaus...or someone who looked a hell of a lot like him.
