This was going to be messy, but what did he care? Sheets could be washed, and it was something different, something he didn't usually do, so he was going to go with the flow and do what had come to mind. It was probably all the alcohol talking, but what did it matter? It wasn't like he was doing anything that was wrong. She wasn't Trevor's wife; she was his, and she was consenting, so what did it matter? If Trevor found out and came to his doorstep, then he'd take him. He was sick of stepping down and backing away and running when it came to Death Eaters. He'd only done it before for the sake of his family, but now his family was already destroyed. There was little more that could be taken away except the physical, tangible existance of his wife and his son. They were already dead to him. Jules had been so different, so unresponsive, and his moods were unpredictable. Nothing he said or did seemed to help, and everything he did, he did wrong. Everything was his fault one moment and Evie's the next. It was a confusing flurry of events, but he supposed it was to be expected.
Kevin tilted his head back as he took one last swig of beer before scooting over closer to her.
*fade to black*
After she was done, he scooted back up, reaching over her for his beer and taking another long swig. He propped his pillow up behind him and leaned back, looking down at and over her and her body.
