Morgana often presents herself a a classic beauty She can take on any appearance but tends to stick to flaxen blonde, wavy curled hair that reached just past her shoulders blades and thin pointed features. Being taught from a young age that her looks were one of greatest advantages and recommendations to her worth Morgana makes sure her hair is coiffed perfectly every day. She takes great hair to get each curl perfectly in place, each lid perfectly painted, her lips plumped and colored meticulously with no imperfections to be found. It is one of her greatest faults that Morgana, when she is done primping and enhancing her features looks more like a fantasy or a painting than a human. Her pale skin and unique grey green eyes give her a mysterious alluring look along with her rose colored lips. Morgana is taller than most girls and has the figure of a model: thin. She is partially that way because of her abilities but she has always liked the idea of being the most beautiful and irresistible girl in the room. Morgana's legs in particular make up most of her body and the thin long lines of them would continue straight up if it weren't for the slightest hint of a curve for her hips and waist. Given her statuesque physique Morgana has a love for lowcut and tightfitting clothing, particularly when it has a high fashion avant gaurde quality. Fashion is, after all, a form of expression, and Morgana never hold back when it comes to stating her opinions. That being said Morgana has been in and around power for most of her life so she does understand the merits of understatement. In her youth and even in the former Lord Trevor's rise to power subtly was often lost on Morgana, but after years abroad she has refined her taste to be suggestive, simple, and appropriate to her setting.
PLAY-BY: Charlize Theron
MIRROR OF ERISED: Morgana's greatest desire is to be wanted. When she looks into the mirror of Erised she sees adoration and appreciation for all she contributes to those around her and maybe even one person in the world who gives her what she never has had before in her life- unconditional love.
BOGGART: Living with darkness and growing up around death Morgana fears very little. One thing that haunts her deeply is the fact that she is alone and fears becoming irrelevant and lost to the world. Without someone to acknowledge her existence, without someone to tell her story she may very well just disappear into obscurity.
TRAITS: Over the years Morgana has gone through several changes. While during the more turbulant years of war and upheaval Morgana was nothing more than a vain, sadistic creature she has changed as age has brought her more maturity and grace. One thing that has not changed is her vanity and self centeredness. There are few people she puts in front of herself. It is not because she thinks she is better than others or even that is more important than those around her- it largely centers from the fact that she wishes to make a good impression and therefore focuses on herself and her appearances more than she probably should.
Given her upbringing Morgana shows loyalty to the old cause even if it is dead. Her family was a believer and a supporter of blood purity. She herself believes that her abilities and high achievements stem not only from her practice and work but good breeding as well. For this reason, Morgana is a supporter of the purity laws and hateful of both mudbloods and traitors of any kind as well as anyone who tries to harm or speak against her the old cause. When it comes to Lord Voldemort and the original death eaters she is particularly sensitive as she feels she owes her career, her fortunes, and her life to them in many ways.
Despite her vanity and sometimes cold demeanor Morgana does not lack a sense of humor- barbed as her wit may be. Morgana is highly sarcastic and loves to remind of herself and others of her old position as one of the elite in the old ranks of Voldemort’s top followers as well as her accomplishments as the first Press Secretary of the new regime. She considers herself above most other people but still manages to keep herself and her feelings of such things secret when necessary. Being around politics and politicians for many years Morgana knows when to speak and when to hold her tongue. Often times this can come out a cold or calculating to those around her but Morgana can often use a honeyed word or a sultry look to soothe any ruffled feathers.
Morgana loves watching others suffer and enjoys destroying others in a mental more than a physical fashion though she is not opposed to killing and has done so more times than she likes to admit. While she has mellowed in her desires to create pain toward the perfect stranger to protect a cause or an ally Morgana will go to any lengths- especially if it entails revenge.
Given her history with most of the world, men in particular, Morgana is slow to trust. Her trust once lost is lost forever. She is highly suspicious always seeking the alternative explanation, the unspoken end game, or the hidden motive in another's actions. She expects this of ever person friend or foe because that is how she operates. For this reason she has a hard time forming attachments and holds very dear those she lets in considering the worst sin to break that connect and trust.

HISTORY: Born to two of the most dedicated death eaters known to the world in a little town somewhere on the Italian border Morgana was pampered as the princess of the pure blood family and heir to their place in Voldemort’s inter circle. She was treated to the best and reared by her parents for a life of luxury and dedication to the Dark Lord. Her father was an inside man with the government, old family connections to several high ranking members of the inner circle and loyal only to his family and his lord. Her mother was a classic beauty who's family has a strong and gifted bloodline that often included Metamorphgus every few generations. Morgana, named for the famous dark witch, was brought up with an intense hate of muggles and mudbloods as well as strong loyalties to the dark lord. She accepted her parents words as the absolute law and truth, especially after they were killed by a group of aurors headed by a half blood monster.
After her parent’s death, Morgana was sent to live with her parent’s friends the LeStrange family. Bellatrix and Rudolphus became her adoptive parents and continued to raise her as a future death eater. Their treatment of her, while not warm or nurturing, give Morgana many of her traits. She was taught to be ruthless, calculating, and self sufficient. The Lestranges sent Morgana to Hogwarts and were pleased when she was immediately without any hesitation sorted into Slytherin. She immediately became the top of her house’s year: excelling in both her classes and flying as well as gathering a whole group of followers from the smart to the thick skulled, all of them willing to kill for her, especially the boys as she was turning into quite the beauty and learning to exploit that fact. Beauty did not mean that Morgana was without her success due to her own merits. She became a Chaser on the quidditch team and head girl in her year.
Given her beauty, her grace, her intelligence and her family connections it was nearly impossible for Morgana not to come out into society with all the applause and acclaim she felt she deserved. By the end of her first season she had settled her heart on a man named Robert Graham. While at first they seemed the perfect society couple Morgana quickly found the relationship was a guilded cage. Less than a year into the of living together Robert became dissatisfied, abusive, and ill tempered. She never doubted he loved her, she just doubted that she could survive him. The doubt that she would outlive her husband became very clear the night he tried to kill her. Drunk and blinded with rage Robert grabbed hold of Morgana's throat and would not let go. Desperate for life unsure of what else to do, her wand to far away to reach Morgana grabbed a nearby letter opener and stabbed her own husband. The first plunge of the blade into his flesh released a blinding fury in Morgana and she got over her one fear in joining her family legacy in the Dark Lord's circle- her fear that she would not be able to kill. Bellatrix was the only person Morgana could think of to call. Her adoptive mother relayed an offer from the Dark Lord. In return for their help covering up the murder and taking her in, Morgana would finally join them- Morgana agreed readily. Receiving the mark was the proudest moment of her life. It was the first time she truly felt a part of something- accepted, necessary, and it was the first time she saw a true look of pride in her adoptive mother's eyes.
From the moment of her initiation Morgana only sought to be a credit to her family and her Lord. Her ascension into the upper ranks of death eaters was done quickly. Death after death and successful missions one after another brought her closer and closer to the inner circle of Voldemort. Many of the Dark Lord's most dangerous enemies, including many members of the Order of the Phoenix, one assassination of a Minister of Magic, not to mention muggles here and there, were all killed by her successfully. After all her hard work she was one of the few permitted to take of her mask in her Master’s presence, but she was still without happiness, at least as she perceived it, unless it was in praise for a job well done.
Morgana's most important mission and greatest challenged occurred when she was brought into the main rings of death eaters with an important mission given to her by the Dark Lord himself. Morgana was to break up the marriage of Casey and Evie Winslow by tempting Casey into another relationship, with herself posing as a waitress at the Three Broomsticks. The mission went well, Morgana and Trevor managed to do some real damage, even to the point where Morgana tempted Casey to leave his wife by feigning pregnancy. However, some setbacks and unknown allies to the couple left the mission in ruins and turned out to be the short fuse to the destruction of the Dark Lord and his followers. For many the fault lie with Morgana. For her it was purely a mistake, a small err in timing that easily could have been reconciled if not for other outstanding factors.
In shame of her part in the Dark Lord's downfall, and without refuge, the next few years were spent on the run. Eventually, Morgana was able to free both her associate Trevor Williams and her adoptive mother Bellatrix. Morgana thought that perhaps in some way freeing Trevor Williams would repay in some small way her failure with the Winslow family. Her task being accomplished, Morgana and Bellatrix managed to settle and change their identities so that they would not be seen but the years of flight took a serious toll on what Morgana considered the last member of her family. Bellatrix died refusing to look into the eyes of her adoptive daughter whom, after her roll in the destruction of Lord Voldemort, the woman considered a serious waste and a disappointment.
Maybe it was the lack of approval as Bellatrix LeStrange's eyes, maybe it was her own sense of loss and loneliness after the death of her last companion but shortly after the death of her guardian Morgana became reckless and began seeking a new cause and a new way to vent her frustrations. She would seduce and harm innocent men, often torturing mudbloods and muggles to vent her anger at how she had been cast off. But as time wore on she began hearing whisperings of the rise of her old friends- that they too were dissatisfied with how things ended and wanted, like her, to complete the work of their Dark Lord and purge the wizarding world of its bad blood and restore magic to its rightful place.
When she finally found the 'movement' she had sought she found herself rather disappointed in its caliber. The leader Derrin White was little more than a self important, puffed up, prick who enjoyed the title of Lord despite the fact that he had done little to earn it. Morgana quickly allied with those who agreed with her assessment- her old partner Trevor Williams included. The plan was molded quickly and easily: she was to get into the new Dark Lord's graces and form an attachment to him and eventually, in the chaos of the battle and the takeover of the wizarding world they all planned she would draw him away and kill him. The plan was elegant, simple, and something she had done at least a hundred times before in the service of Lord Voldemort himself. The plan only became more complicated when Morgana found herself becoming attached to Trevor Williams. She found herself, for the first time since her engagement to the man who almost killed her, telling the truth, opening up, laughing and acting like herself again.
The battle changed everything. At first it was just as expected. There was chaos and blood. The Death Eaters, led by their doomed and intrepid idiot Lord, swarmed Hogwarts where they laid waste to the building. In her efforts to kill Derrin Morgana fought and killed indiscriminately. Eventually, the target was cornered off from everyone else. Morgana had her target, raised her wand, and then Derrin White fought back. It was unexpected. The battle between the two of them raged. It was the hardest duel of Morgana's life. She fought her best, pulling out her most dangerous spells, but she failed again. Derrin was standing over her body, just about to finish her off when she mercifully blacked out. When she came to, surprised to be alive, she was told they were victorious- they new regime was in power, but once again the Winslows and through them, the Order, escaped again.
In her time healing Morgana began to see that one of the many things that died in the battle, even if she survived, was the blossoming love between her and Trevor Williams. His obsession with Evie Winslow continued so far as to use the objective of destroying the Order to kidnap her, wipe her memory and make her his Lady. Morgana, unwilling to play second fiddle to anyone in her personal life broke off her personal connection and clung to what remained- her position.
In the regime change Morgana had become quite notable. She was made press secretary of the entire regime. No paper was published, no reporter granted a word or an interview without her permission or say so. She was the protector of the government. Her life consisted of power plays, spying, investigating and ripping apart naysayers of the policies of the regime. Morgana found that she had a talent for this particular skill set. She felt at home commanding a legion of readers and reporters, of spies and servants. For a while she was contented with her place. How could she not feel pride when she was the second highest ranking woman in the regime and the fourth highest ranking person over all. She only wished she could see her adoptive mother's face now. She only hoped that she would see pride there- she thought there would be.
Her life took another turn back into the path of now Lord Williams when she was attending a normal regime function- a masque. Apparently, he had not forgotten her. It seemed, after a few brief conversations that she had not quite forgotten him either. The two of them resumed their relationship clandestinely. Morgana found herself doing what she had sworn not to do, playing second fiddle to Trevor's mock wife. Later she would find out that she was not the only one. That she was indeed the second mistress and not even the first- something she bitterly remembers every so often to this day when she recalls the way he promised to take her on as his Lady the minute Evie gave birth and raise a family with her- something they said they desired so often. She did try her best the second time. She was open, and honest. She even helped Trevor search for his daughters. Still, it seemed that the world was against them. In fact, they were against themselves.
One dark night Trevor came to her door and accused her of the murder of both Evie and the baby she was carrying. Morgana, while a murderess, and a spy, and many other things had never killed a child before. She was insulted. Insulted that he could not trust her. Insulted that he could think she would do that when he knew how she had come to serve in the way she had and the reasons she killed. Even after she was proven innocent by an unbreakable vow her relationship with Trevor was strained to say the least. The two tried for a time. She even attempted to help him build his new family, but in the end it wasn't enough. Trevor lost interest and she lost her patience and again two were on the outs. Feeling that if she stayed any longer she would be trapped one way or another again Morgana resigned her position as Press Secretary and sought to go somewhere new. She wanted a new start. She wanted a new beginning. Morgana styled herself and imbued herself with power as an ambassador to Italy and left Trevor, his whores, his daughters and her country to burn to the ground.
The sunny shores of Italy were welcome, but strange to Morgana. Despite the fact that she was originally from Florance she felt as if she did not belong there. The language was strange. The food was foreign. She was British born and bred since the death of her mother and father so it was an odd sensation to be back. Still, growing closer to the government of the Italian wizards Morgana felt herself growing more attached to the place. Soon she grew curious about her own roots and family, after all, her own mother was from the area. Morgana began to grow new roots; she learned the language, she started cooking, she studied Italian Wizarding history and sought out more Italian art and eventually, Morgana purchased her family's old home and moved herself in. Still, despite her new life and her place she felt something was missing. She wanted still to be needed and to be useful. She wanted something greater than herself to care about. She was determined more than ever to begin again until news of her recall was delivered.
As per her predictions, upon leaving she had left a house of cards just waiting to be toppled. In the recall it was expressed that Lord Trevor had stepped down and has since gone missing, that not one but two Lords had replaced him and that chaos was reigning as king back home. If she was to retain her wealth, her pay, and her position abroad Morgana had to go back- something she swore she would never do. So Morgana is now packing up her life and leaving her home behind to once again venture into the dark world of chaos that she left and maybe, finally, find a purpose, and her place in it.
