D.O.B.:March 16th, 1975

GENDER & PRONOUNS: Female (she, her)
ORIENTATION: Straight

WAND:Holly, 10 ½ inches, hippogriff feather and centaur’s tear
PATRONUS: It was a corgi but given the level of trauma she may not be able to produce it or it may have changed since then.

HAIR: Bridget's hair is bright red. She often considered it her finest feature. At its best Bridget's hair fell just bellow her collarbone and had a gentle wave to it. She would often tie it back into a ponytail low on the nape of her neck as the hair in her eyes was really more of a bother than anything else. When she really is making an effort Bridget favors an old fashioned pin up style, waved and elegant-not that she makes an effort often.

EYES: Bridget always prided herself on her perfect eyesight. It was part of her career in quidditch. Her eyes, a lively and vivid green, complemented her red hair and were always noticeable. They usually projected a friendly air or outright fire depending on the day and time. Her eyes were never guarded before prison and were an open window to the soul- a window to get to know her and invitation to confide in her, now they are shut and dead. Still green, but not sparkling, not bright, dull and dead.

HEIGHT:5'7"
WEIGHT:145 lbs

MARKINGS: Bridget has a tattoo of the Irish national quidditch team standard and motto on the inside of her left wrist and scars all over her back from her time as a slave.

PLAY-BY: Jessica Chastaine

MIRROR OF ERISED: Bridget sees herself young again. Free on a broom playing quidditch for her old team while someone who loves her for her watches on.
BOGGART: An unmarked grave that belongs to her. She has no family to remember her. No friends to cry on the fresh dirt. No one to repeat her name or even care she is gone for a moment.

TRAITS: Before she was imprisoned Bridget was very loud, outspoken, energetic, and friendly. She was known for her sarcasm and her habit of exaggerating things. She was very independent and headstrong and loves doing things her way. She has a fiery temper when in engaged, only matched by her loyalty and concern for her friends. She isn’t very organized and loves to do things at the last minute, but she always gets things done and is known as dependable for that reason. She loved to smile and make others smile and tried to be as entertaining as possible.

Since her time first in slavery and then in prison Bridget has broken. She does not speak. She is not vivacious. She does not laugh or find room to unless it is mirthless and bitter. Now she keeps her head down and does not bother to go out of her way to get to know people. She lacks trust in anyone around her and questions everyone and their motives.

HISTORY: Born in Ireland to a half-blood wizarding da, Bryce Callighan, and a muggle for a mum, Mary Callighan, Bridget was always known for her active behavior. Her grandmum was always laughing from the minute she was born because she could wiggle her way out of almost any grip and refused to stay still for more than five minutes. Grant you Bridget wasn’t fussy. She usually was smiling and gurgling rather than crying, but she loved to move around. She was healthy from the minute she was born and the only thing her parents had trouble with besides her constant movement was Bridget’s strange opposition to sleep and understandably her hate of waking up from her naps.

In the early years Bridget was always her da’s little girl, perhaps because of complications with her birth, and the fact that it was not safe for Mrs. Callighan to have another child. From the first day he found a quidditch uniform in a baby size and a mobile for her crib that were spelled to fly around a quidditch pitch and play games before her eyes. While her da always explained the game to her mum, Mary never really seemed to approve of the game and managed to role her eyes whenever Mr. Callighan took his young baby daughter out to a professional quidditch game or a practice. Bridget’s eyes always seemed brighter around the pitch and it was almost uncanny how at the young age she was always paying such careful attention to the events and movements of the game, almost as if she was studying them.

The love of movement and quiddich, much to her mother’s disapproval, never passed through her system as Mary once predicted. From the earliest that she could, in the muggle world, Bridget signed up for a girl’s football team and became the starting striker. Her skill in the muggle sport was only matched by her skill on a broom. Her father, of course, had taught her early how to ride and he was already sneaking off with her to protected areas to play catch with her using a small quaffle, eventually a regular sized one, having her keep, and hitting bludgers back and forth. Bridget however, much preferred throwing the quaffle to anything else.

While her father was molding Bridget into the perfect quidditch player, her mother was always trying to get her to act like a perfect lady. Bridget was signed up for ballet, and got kicked out two days later. At school she got good grades, but she always did better in sports and fights than she did in arts and making friends with the other girls. Much to her mother’s dismay, Bridget was always one of the guys and never really showed much interest in bows and frills. Needless to say that this continued until she got her letter from Hogwarts and was sent off with a pat on the back and a big smile from her father and a worried, overprotected, stern warning from her mother.

Bridget quickly found her niche in Hogwarts with the quidditch team from Gryffindor, her own house, and by her second year was hanging out with them as their newest chaser. She was the young protégé of many reknowned troublemakers before their departure from the school, and afterwards became their replacement using every kind of prank you could think of, including abducting Mrs. Norris and flushing her down Moaning Myrtle’s toilet, fireworks in the teacher’s lounge, and releasing a group of pixies during graduation. While she became on of Filtch’s least favorite students, Bridget had her mind straight when it came to school. She got high scores in a good amount of her classes and those she didn’t get a good score in, she did rather decently. Her best class by far was flying skills, followed by potions, but nothing really jumped out for her in the working world, that is until she was recruited in her seventh year by the Irish quidditch team- her family's team.

For quite sometime she played for the team, becoming close friends with most of them, especially the seeker, Casey Winslow. After he left the team to do one thing or another to be closer to his family, they got out of touch, it was hard to keep in touch with anyone outside the team really. She stayed on until the team fell into a bit of disrepair due to the rising popularity of the wizarding version of football. She left the team despite the fact that she didn’t have anything to do outside of it and eventually, thanks to the ‘wonderful’ insight and training of the ministry has been assigned to a teaching position in potions at Hogwarts. She doesn’t mind so much because Bridget always thought teaching would be a bit of fun and potions was her best subject by far, but she was overwhelmed with all the lesson plans, as well as the fact that she needed to be a responsible disciplinarian for the first time in her life.

The new chapter was a hard adjustment. The lack of cursing and drinking was an adjustment, as was the need to preplan. At first it was all very overwhelming. In the first few months, unless she was out of the field flying, Bridget felt like she was drowning in a sea of parchment and candlelight in the dungeon of Hogwarts castle. But slowly her lessons improved, and slowly she adjusted to the new life. She rekindled her friendship with the Winslows and made new friends with others: Lucy, Evie, and even found a new love- Kyle Camden. They dated happily- she helping him out of his shell and he helping her relax into an average life. For a bit of time she wanted to have that life and she thought she would have gotten it before strange things started happening around the castle. First it was Casey's depression, then it was John's disappearance, everyone was on edge and by the time it was all pieced together it was all too late.

The attack was gruesome. Bridget did the best she could to protect the children around. She shepherd as many as she could to freedom. She charmed walls and rooms and dorms as best she can and hid the students all around her. Her defensive magic and dueling had never been her strong suit so she was unable to battle as the other did- this is something that continues to haunt her. That she couldn't save more or do more. It was the beginning of the third chapter in her life.

Given her blood status she continued time of uselessness. She could not leave the safe haven that her friends had created as the new Order of the Phoenix. She could not fight. She could not smuggle. She was trapped in a world of their making. For the first couple of months it was bearable. As time dragged on, and Kyle was gone longer and longer Bridget became more and more restless. She resorted to trying to become an animagus to allow herself to leave the grounds but never gained success. With her friends either gone, or off doing something of importance, or in hiding Bridget became deeply depressed. She had lost flying, she had lost teaching, and all she had to do now was wait and organize potions for the Order. Lucy tried to talk sense into her but one day Bridget had enough. She left, intending to try to find her way in the world despite her blood status. One night she snuck out and grabbed a broom- wanting to fly home to see if her dad was doing alright since the take over. She had not been able to communicate and was sure he was worried- especially since the attack.

Despite her cloaking charms and her caution Bridget was eventually brought down by imperium guards. She was recognized due to her celebrity status and the tattoo on her ankle. At first, they had little reason to disbelieve her story of visiting her parents and merely punished her blood status by making her a slave to the government. Her willfulness was frequently punished through torture and beatings. Eventually she was considered too much trouble after she used her bonds to try to choke a guard and was locked up in Azkaban indefinitely. It was there that she was recognized as having an association with the Order. One of her former students, loyal to the Imperium Guard and serving a rotation at Azkaban let his knowledge of her associations with Casey Winlsow, Kyle Camden and others be known to a superior. She was taken away from the general population and locked away in solitary. She was taken out at all hours to prevent her from marking any passage of time. They experimented on her- new spells, new techniques, and on the worst days allowed the dementors to feed on her bit by bit. Slowly, Bridget began to forget. She began to forget her friends, her family, the fact that she had once loved to live and relished life. The last thing she really holds in her mind is flying. Despite the torture she never gave up any information- a last act of defiance.

Now she waits to die. The guards only know her as a mute who stares at the sky whenever she can say a chance- quiet, souless, and empty.

ANYTHING ELSE? Not that I can think of
